Helicobacter pylori Antigen Rapid Test
The Helicobacter pylori Antigen Rapid Test is a qualitative immunochromatographic diagnostic test intended for the detection of H. pylori antigen in human stool samples.
It enables the identification of active H. pylori infection, a bacterium responsible for various gastric disorders.
Test Principle
The test is based on a lateral flow immunochromatographic assay using specific anti–H. pylori antibodies.
When H. pylori antigen is present in the sample, an antigen–antibody complex forms and migrates along the membrane. This reaction produces a visible colored test line, indicating a positive result.
